Implementation of the Fresh Pond Master Plan, a long term plan for Fresh Pond Reservation lands, including resource management and usage policies for repair and protection of natural resources.
Membership includes up to 15 members to include at least 9 resident volunteers with active, long-term knowledge of the Reservation, the Water Department's Watershed Manager, Conservation Commission Executive Director and Director of Recreation.

Meeting Frequency: The Fresh Pond Advisory Board meets quarterly to discuss on-going and future projects and programs at the Reservation. Fresh Pond Advisory Board Meetings are held at the Walter J. Sullivan Water Treatment Facility at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway in Cambridge. Members of the public are always welcome and are invited to voice their comments at the end of the meeting.
Affecting Legislation: Originally established in 1997 by the City Manager as the Fresh Pond Advisory Committee. It was later renamed Fresh Pond Master Plan Advisory Board, based on recommendations in the Fresh Pond Reservation Master Plan. Completed in 2000, the Fresh Pond Reservation Master Plan was the culmination of over two years of work by the original advisory committee made up of citizens of Cambridge and City officials.
